Modeling Reacting Flows with ANSYS CFD (Part - 5)
Reactions are everywhere and reacting flow modeling has become crucial to provide insight into the mixing, chemical reaction, heat release and pollutant formation processes.
A review of fundamental concepts related to reacting flows were presented in part 1. Theory, modeling approaches and important tips & tricks on fast chemistry, finite rate chemistry, pollutants and surface reactions modeling were discussed in parts 2, 3 and 4.
The last part of this webinar series, part-5 will provide an in-depth understanding of modeling solid and liquid combustion using ANSYS CFD. These modeling approaches are useful for modeling combustion of coal, biomass, waste or liquid fuels in furnaces, boilers, gasifiers, IC engines, gas turbine combustors, etc.
