Modeling Reacting Flows with ANSYS CFD (Part - 2)
Reactions are everywhere and reacting flow modeling has become crucial to provide insight into the mixing, chemical reaction, heat release and pollutant formation processes. After a review of fundamental concepts related to reacting flows was presented in part 1 of this 5 part webinar series, subsequent parts will focus on detailed discussions of various reacting flow models in ANSYS CFD.
Part 2 of this webinar series will provide detailed understanding of the fast chemistry reacting flow models available in ANSYS CFD. These models are widely used for combustion application like gas turbines, furnaces, etc. where the reaction chemical reactions happen at a much faster rate than mixing. Best practices and few examples of key applications will be discussed.
