ANSYS 14.0 Update for Advanced Turbomachinery CFD
ANSYS has recently developed several new methods that enable rapid simulation of transient fluid flow in turbomachinery blade rows. An overview of these methods, known as “transformation methods” is provided. Results of recent simulations of axial flow compressors and turbines are reviewed.
