ANSYS Magnetic Valve Assembly
This demonstration illustrates the process of using ANSYS EMAG to calculate magnetic torque versus position angle for a magnetic valve assembly. This example will show the complete process, beginning from a CAD assembly progressing to electromagnetic results for various operating positions of the valve. Along the way we will highlight:
- Creating a parametric model from static CAD data
- Generating an enclosure volume and a winding body
- Robust and flexible meshing for an electromagnetic simulation
- Including nonlinear B-H data to account for material saturation
- Rapid and robust convergence of the ANSYS solver
- Intuitive graphical post-processing of electromagnetic results
