Simulation Helps Reduce Pollution and Enhance Burner Efficiency

Manufacturers that use gas burners to heat-treat materials must meet increasingly tough emissions standards while requiring high burner efficiency; the key to both is delivering the right mix of gas and air to the burner. Too much air reduces heat output and increases nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions, while too little results in carbon monoxide (CO) and unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust.
