Join ANSYS as we host our partner, Dynardo, developer of optiSLang for a presentation, lunch and networking event. ANSYS optiSLang is the leading edge software for CAE-based Robust Design Optimization (RDO) in virtual prototyping.
We are pleased to announce our speaker, Dr. Johannes Will, joining us from Germany. He is the Founder and CEO of Dynardo GmbH with over 15 years of experience introducing parametric optimization and RDO to many different industries.
ANSYS optiSLang is a general purpose tool for variation analysis using CAE-based design points (and/or measured data points) for the purpose of:
- Sensitivity analysis and data mining
- Calibration of virtual models to physical tests
- Optimization of product performance
- Quantification of product robustness and reliability
- Robust design optimization
ANSYS optiSLang integrates any ANSYS CAE tool as well as any third party CAD/CAE tool and enables engineers and designers to investigate the design sensitivities, improve designs, and validate product quality with easy-to-use wizard based workflows with a minimum number for design points.
The presentation will discuss the application of parameter-based sensitivity analysis, optimization, robustness and reliability analysis, as well as robust design optimization using examples from different industries like biomedical, aero structures, turbomachinery and others.
Seating is limited to 30 registrants, lecture format. Lunch will be provided.

Founder and CEO, Dynardo GmbH
Johannes Will is the Founder and CEO of Dynardo GmbH. Since more than 10 years he is one of the main principal consultants at Dynardo implementing CAE-based Robust Design Optimization (RDO) in different industries. His expertise is covering all parts of the process, starting with process integration and automation, continuing with sensitivity analysis and robustness evaluation up to iterative and simultaneous RDO combining optimization strategies with stochastic analysis. Will holds a doctor degree in structural mechanics from Bauhaus University of Weimar.
