Mentor Graphics Corporation
As a member of Mentor Graphics' OpenDoor® Program, the ANSYS electromagnetics product line and Mentor cooperate to provide common customers with a seamless design flow for PCBs. For designs that begin within Mentor's PCB layout tools - Board Station, Expedition and PADS, ANSYS electromagnetics products read and readily prepare these designs for further simulation and characterization within one or more of these exceptional products: ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS Q3D Extractor and ANSYS SIwave.

Board Station, a comprehensive suite of software tools to design and analyze virtually all types of printed circuit boards, can take you all the way from schematic capture to manufacturing drawings. Designs developed within the Board Station environment are correct-by-construction, fulfilling today's most pressing time-to-market demands. Board Station includes a hierarchical schematic viewer, a graphics editor for defining and modifying geometric parts, and interactive and automatic packaging of logic symbols into physical components. In addition, Board Station includes powerful, interactive, and automatic tools for placement and routing and helps users create MIL-spec drawings and generate computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) outputs in one integrated system.
Expedition™ PCB, powered by AutoActive® technology, is an integral part of the tightly integrated Expedition Series. By combining ease-of-use with advanced functionality, Expedition PCB offers designers the leading technology for the creation of today's most complex designs. Expedition PCB includes interactive and customizable multi-pass autorouting controls for design challenges such as differential pair routing, net tuning, manufacturing optimization and microvia and build-up technology.
PADS Layout is a rich, robust PCB editing environment that provides all the functionality needed to efficiently design and route complex PCBs. PADS Layout integrates seamlessly with the rest of PADS PCB Design Solutions, making PADS Layout part of a complete, integrated flow for design definition, analysis, planning, and layout. PADS Layout can be used stand alone, to bring exceptional layout quality to schematics captured with other vendors' software.
